On September 22, 2025, CAfPRA was formally represented at the National Public Hearing on the Review of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, held at the Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
This gathering marked one of the most critical stages in Nigeria’s ongoing constitutional review process, as lawmakers, civil society groups, and citizens came together to debate and shape the direction of our nation’s governance framework.
Our Presence and Contribution
CAfPRA’s representation at this historic hearing underscored our unwavering commitment to people-centered reforms and the protection of democratic values. Building on our earlier work during the zonal hearings, our team reinforced key recommendations on:
